An extensive programme of product development studies have been successfully completed as part of the development of WirelessZoo, including:
• Calibration of the movement – sensor telemetry in order to recognise different canine and feline breed sizes
• Wearer trials to ensure the monitors securely and comfortably fit canine and feline breed sizes
• Accuracy benchmarking, to ensure the WirelessZoo delivers data to an equal or higher level of accuracy than current wired equipment.
The final phase of the programme is a series of pilots in real life vet practices, to be conducted in partner clinics in the UK, USA, Switzerland and Australia, starting in January 2020.
