We started the process to obtain the Australian patent for the WirelessZoo™ in 2017.
Four years later we are thrilled to have reached this milestone – the Commissioner of Patents has granted Alpha Vet Tech the Australian patent on 11 February 2021.
This is an exciting step in our journey to revolutionise the animal health industry with our wireless monitoring technology. Our early adopters will be able to experience the ease and efficiency of the newly patented WirelessZoo™ device in the coming months.
Director of Marketing Gabrielle Browne explains why Alpha Vet Tech(AVT) has partnered with Neuchatel Canton in Switzerland – and so gained access to its world-class micro-engineering technology and manufacturing capabilities, as well as its strong ongoing R&D resources
The Canton’s technology has been built up through decades of high-quality watch-making – meaning that Neuchatel’s Economic Promotion Office has been able to bring to AVT all the skills necessary to make the WirelessZoo concept a quality reality. Within the Canton, AVT has been able partner with companies offering research, development, design and manufacturing – allowing co-ordinated development of WirelessZoo as a world-class, Swiss-made technology.
